Baldur’s Gate 3: Player Pulls Off UNBELIEVABLE Honor Mode Victory (You Won’t Believe How!)

Just beating Baldur’s Gate 3 is a big deal, but beating Honor Mode is an even bigger achievement. An interesting Reddit post talked about how one Baldur’s Gate 3 player won Honor Mode in the craziest way possible.

This user wrote a pretty long and dramatic post about how they won Honor Mode when only half of their team was still alive.

In a trending post that went viral on Baldur’s Gate 3’s subreddit, this player won Honor Mode in the craziest way possible, even though they thought they were dead. This story goes on for a long time and is very dramatic, which makes the ending of how they won even funnier.

The player talks about how they made it to the final battle against the Netherbrain in Honor Mode (one-save permadeath mode). They were down to just their Tav Sorcerer, Lae’zel, and the evil Orpheus left in their party.

Just before the Netherbrain won in the last round, the last few people alive took it down to one hit point. Their character doesn’t have any Actions or Bonus Actions, but it would win if they didn’t kill it now. They didn’t want to lose their Honor Run right before the end when it was Orpheus’ turn, so they looked through his inventory.

He had three things with him, and one of them was a helmet. The player quickly thought of a way to get Orpheus to throw the helmet at the Netherbrain. They easily beat BG3 on Honor Mode.

The replies liked how creative this player was at the last minute. They did a great job and have a great story to tell about how they won Honor Mode. If Orpheus had missed that helmet throw, though, this post would be very different.
