Valve Gave Away Over a Hundred Steam Decks During Game Awards Speach

You can stream the upcoming Game Awards in a number of ways, but Valve is giving away a lot of Steam Deck consoles to make its Steam TV coverage stand out. The company that makes and sells video games has said that during the live broadcast of the awards show on December 8, it will give away one 512GB Steam Deck every minute.

To be eligible, you must be watching the event on Steam TV, which starts at 7:30PM ET, and you must register on the giveaway’s official page before the event.

Location is one thing that could stop you from entering the draw. You can only sign up and win if you live in the US, Canada, the UK, or the EU, which is where the console is currently for sale. You also need to have bought something from Steam between November 14, 2021, and November 14, 2022, to prove that your account is not limited and is in good standing.

During the event, Valve will pick a name at random from the list of people who signed up and announce the winner in chat every minute. The show is expected to last about two and a half hours, which means there are more than 100 Steam Decks to be won.

The 2022 Game Awards will be streamed online and will also be shown live in some US, Canadian, and other cities as a “IMAX Experience.” This year’s event will also have a new category called “Best Adaptation,” which will include projects that turn games into movies, TV shows, podcasts, or books.
