Initial Daily Schedule
The daily schedule in Dave the Diver includes morning and afternoon diving sessions and an evening visit to the sushi bar, where you can manage the restaurant, set the menu, and serve customers. Diving is only allowed during the day.
How to Unlock Night Diving?
You’re almost there! Defeat the Giant Squid Boss in Chapter 1 and grab the Pink Delivery Box from its lair. Then, head back to the surface to unlock the amazing Deep Sea Headlamp! We’ve got all the details on the boss battle on a separate page of your guide.
Want to advance to chapter 2 – Into the Deep? Well, you only have to meet some friendly NPCs at the sushi bar. It’s worth it because this will start the thrilling new main quest, Going Deeper, where you’ll get to defeat John Watson (we’ve got all the juicy details on another page, don’t worry!).
But wait, there’s more! Keep an ear out for Bancho’s call because he’s got some intel on a problematic customer that will unlock the exciting A Noisy Customer side quest. And guess what? You’ll get to meet Otto, the customer in the hat (check out his cool image above), and he’ll give you the task of preparing a delicious Moray Eel Curry. Yum!
Now, we know finding a Moray Eel can be a little tricky, but trust us, it’s totally worth it. These sneaky Eels only come out at night, so prepare to dive deep after night. And while it might shorten the restaurant’s opening hours (up to 33%!), don’t worry. You’ll still get to serve some awesome customers. Plus, diving at night is an adventure in itself! You might even discover some new fish species and other cool surprises.

How to Complete A Noisy Customer Quest?
Wow, catching an eel can be so exciting! Just make sure to bring a great weapon before you jump in the water. Once you’re in, watch the Moray Eel – a fierce blue fish that’ll give you a run for your money. But don’t worry, with some skill and strategy, you can take it down and add some delicious fish pieces to your inventory.
If you’re looking for a truly amazing meal, head to the sushi bar in the evening. Check out the menu and select the Moray Eel Curry dish – it’s simply divine! Just be careful not to mix it up with other Eel dishes on the list.
Once you’ve placed your order, sit back and relax while the chef prepares your meal. When it’s ready, deliver it to our friend Otto and enjoy the lively conversation that’s sure to follow.
And the best part? Completing this quest unlocks the Fish Farm location, where you can breed all sorts of fish using the eggs you’ve collected from the sea. How cool is that? Get ready to become a true fish master!.
